Redfall trailer11/15/2023 Redfall will still launch as an online-only game, unfortunately, but Arkane says it's exploring ways to remove the option. While there's a focus on four-player combat, Redfall's bread and butter, it's also worth noting the trailer goes out of its way to mention it can be played alone, too. Paranormal investigator Devinder Crousley uses an Arc Javelin to shock foes, and ex-military sharpshooter Jacob Boyer throws out his psychic raven to combo off of the Arc Javelin and burst some vampires into flames. Remi De La Rosa distracts foes with his Siren robot companion and then blows them up with a C4 charge. The telekinetic Layla Ellison is shown using her Lift elevator to launch herself in the air and umbrella shield to deflect attacks. The abilities of each of Redfall's protagonists are given a particular focus in the launch trailer. There are even some hints at the game's story, or at least the escalating threat of increasingly powerful vampires and their world-ending machinations. Combat is delved into, including looted weapons and each character's unique abilities. It offers exciting glimpses of Redfall's island town setting, from Woodson's Lobster Pound to the Heritage Rock Lighthouse. The launch trailer for Redfall is meant to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time.
